An In-Depth Systeme.io Review: Is it Worth the Investment?

Line drawing of construction tools manually building a website.

Systeme.io has been receiving a lot of buzz lately, and for good reason! When compared to similar all-in-one marketing platforms, it’s the most affordable by a mile. Systeme.io’s pricing is incredibly accessible, but affordability isn’t a substitute for quality.

Choosing a marketing platform is a decision that should not be taken lightly, regardless of cost.

Since 2017, I’ve explored a myriad of different marketing and hosting software. I believe that Systeme.io outshines its competition on almost every key factor: affordability, comprehensiveness, features, and user-friendliness.

In my in-depth Systeme.io review, I will explore each of these factors and why Systeme.io can outperform its competitors at such a low price point.

Systeme.io Features

Systeme.io is a Software as a Service company (SAAS), created by Aurelian Amacker and launched in 2018. Amacker designed this software by trial and error, intending to boost his coaching and course sales. If you’re involved in the tech space, I’m sure you already know that Systeme.io has been a rousing success.

Systeme.io only became publicly available after Amacker considered it good enough for his own business. This means that he perfected it for actual use, and did not just churn out an SAAS for his own financial gain.

Systeme.io Affordability

Systeme.io’s pricing ranges from free to just $97 per month. This is outrageously affordable when compared to its comparable competitors.

Builderall costs anywhere between $47 to $247 per month; this wide margin is based primarily on tiered features. ClickFunnels subscriptions begin at $127 a month, and this price is particularly shocking when compared to the price of Systeme.io’s unlimited plan. Lastly, Kajabi’s basic plan starts at $119 per month.

While these are only a handful of the many hosting and marketing platforms available, the majority of Systeme.io’s competitors are also exceedingly more expensive than Systeme.io.

Of course, all of those numbers are meaningless unless we discuss what Systeme.io does for you in reference to comparable software. Is the old adage that “you get what you pay for” really true in the case of marketing platforms? In this instance, I don’t necessarily agree.

Systeme.io Comprehensiveness

For such a reasonable pricing structure, Systeme.io lives up to its promise to be an all-in-one marketing platform. Even its free plan is much more comprehensive than many of its competitors.

A free subscription to Systeme.io includes one website, emailing capabilities, sales funnels, a blog, a course, a community, and storage. These features are only expanded with each tier of the paid plan. Their unlimited plan, $97 per month, includes unlimited everything, free migration, and one-on-one kickstart coaching.

Let’s compare Systeme.io’s comprehensiveness to each of the three big competitors I listed earlier:

It’s no secret that I am a huge fan of Builderall’s software. I’ve had great success with their tools and their affiliate program. The biggest con to Builderall is its price point; it’s just not accessible to many entrepreneurs who have a low budget for marketing or who are just starting out.

When it comes to completeness, Builderall does leave something to be desired compared to Systeme.io. Sales funnels are only included in paid plans, and storage space is limited.

  • ClickFunnels:

This program does not include blogs, an affiliate program, or unlimited storage space. Again, I have to give the point to Systeme.io.

  • Kajabi:

Kajabi is highly regarded by course creators, for good reason. That said, it isn’t a comprehensive platform for any other type of businessperson. I can’t recommend Kajabi to anyone who doesn’t focus heavily on educational entrepreneurship and has a large marketing budget.

User-Friendliness

In some ways, Systeme.io’s user-friendliness is both its biggest pro and biggest con.

The platform calls itself “the world’s easiest all-in-one marketing platform” and it certainly is easy to use. The user interface is very simple with drag-and-drop functionality. You don’t have to understand coding or design to use Systeme.io’s templates, and creating a website doesn’t get any easier than this.

That said, Systeme.io’s template-based format is its Achilles’ heel for a lot of users. Clients complain that there aren’t enough options for creativity. I believe this aspect of the platform is where we see that sometimes you do “get what you pay for.”

Templates allow Systeme.io to restrict its platform and save money, thereby saving its users money. However, this approach is incredibly limiting and may be a big enough con to dissuade people from the platform.

Systeme.io Competitors

All in all, I do believe that Systeme.io makes good on its promises, and I’m incredibly impressed by its features, comprehensiveness, and affordability. While the platform’s templates do leave something to be desired, this is quality software that performs very well.

One of the most frequent questions I’m asked about Systeme.io is how it compares to ClickFunnels. If you’re interested in a detailed comparison of the two, read our full review here!
